Julia Creek Dirt and Dust Festival

For 26 years the Julia Creek Dirt n Dust Festival has celebrated the spirit of the Queensland Outback with dirt, dust, sweat and tears. Each year festival-goers from all over Australia warm up for Australia’s Toughest Tri, scrub up for the Artesian Express Race Day and Fashions on the Field, and gear up for the PBR and nightly concerts. From running the gauntlet in our Senior Triathlon to shaking your booty for Australia’s Best Butt the weekend is chock full of bucketlist experiences for the whole family. Prepare yourself for 2020, it’s going to be a festival for the ages

A2O traffic Solutions have had the honour to sponsor and manager the Julia Creek Dirt and dust festival. Julia Creek is a great regional town 6 hours west of Townsville where supporting the local community is a part of life. The event attack PBR bull riders and triathlon athletes from across the ??? to join in to the two day event.

From a traffic management perspective A2O traffic Solutions is responsible for closing down the Main street as well as sections of the Bruce Hwy during periods of the event.
